At International Montessori Schools, children are free to learn and discover at their own pace. We believe children grow holistically, developing skills across social and intellectual levels. Our approach is the Montessori Method, used for over a hundred years in cultures around the world. The school serves children from 6 weeks until 6 years of age.
The rooms are set up so children can choose work that fits them. Shelves hold real materials, and children move freely between activities. Teachers trained in the Montessori Method guide each child rather than leading the whole group. The day has a steady rhythm: time to work, time outside, time to eat and rest.
A visitor often notices how calm the rooms feel. Children are absorbed in what they are doing, and teachers sit beside them rather than at the front. The environment is child-centered, and it is designed to help children become independent. You can see this for yourself on a tour.
What a day looks like
Mornings start with a gentle arrival. Families are open 6:00 pm weekdays, so children come in at different times. A teacher greets each child by name. Younger children settle into their own routine, while older ones choose work from the shelves. Before and after care is available.
The middle of the day mixes work and play. Children choose activities, join small groups, and spend time outdoors. Meals are shared, and younger children rest. The pace stays unhurried so no one is rushed. Full and half days are both offered.
Afternoon brings quieter work and outdoor time. Children help tidy the room before pickup. Teachers share a few concrete moments from the day with each family. Before and after care runs until 6:00 pm. You can ask about specific hours when you visit.
How we work with families
At pickup, a teacher tells you one or two things your child did that day. Maybe they poured water without spilling, or they helped a friend. If you have a question, you can ask the teacher at the door or call the office. Teachers keep notes and share them with you.
We ask families to tell us their child's routine before the first day. A shorter first visit helps a new child settle. Teachers stay close during the first weeks, and you can call to check in. We plan the first week around what suits your child.

You will see the classroom your child would join and meet the teachers who run it. Come with your questions and take the time you need to picture your child in the room.

Enroll and settle in
You complete enrollment and plan a first week that suits your child's routine. We shape those first days around what your child already knows, so the transition stays calm.
